Who we are...

The XIII Legionnaires was founded in November 2005 by Jim "Digger" Jenkins". Shortly after he invited friends to join him on the new team. One of them was Corbin "Soulja" Gravely". Soulja was on an established paintball team called "Team Atomic" but agreed to merge with the newly formed XIII. The team is located in the tri-state area of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania consisting of 40+ team members.

Mission Statements & Information

The XIII Legionnaires is a Paintball Team based around images and information available in encyclopedias in regards to the basic military unit of ancient Rome. Legionnaires are soldiers who belong to a legion (A large group of soldiers; an army). Legions were named and numbered; about 50 have been identified. Usually there were 28 Legions plus their Auxiliaries, with more raised as needed or as able. The Legio XIII (13th Legion) is one of the more historically noteworthy Roman legions, as it was one of Julius Caesar's armies used in Gaul, and also for his civil war. It was also the legion he famously crossed the Rubicon that started an invasion of Ancient Rome as he led his army across the Rubicon river in violation of law, making conflict inevitable.

Statement 1.

The XIII Legionnaires will strive to promote paintball in a good light, always conducting ourselves in an appropriate manner at all events and games.We also will aid young players in paintball, to find thier own way on their own terms, with out pressure.

Statement 2.

Our standards are set quite high, we believe that Honor, Integrity, Valor, Respect, and Desire should be a part of paintball, and we will always reflect those ideals.Many of our players have been members of other teams, or are experienced paintballers with years of expierence that wished to join a team of like minded players.Look for us at a game near you..and well met friends.
